Building A Community-Run Protocol

The roadmap provides a broad direction of travel towards the goal rather than specific, sequential milestones.

Ruby's aim is to develop the Ruby AMM Protocol to a point where it can be handed to the DAO community for long-term maintenance, as a core element of the SKALEVERSE's public infrastructure.

The roadmap provides a list of features necessary and desirable for achieving this goal, without imposing arbitrary deadlines.

The aim is to work steadily towards decentralization by launching the functionality that will allow RUBY holders to vote for updates and improvements, with decisions eventually activated automatically on-chain. Greater responsibility will incrementally be given to RUBY holders as the community grows and becomes more familiar with the protocol.
